COSTUME CONSTRUCTION

My current position at the University of San Diego demands that I pull as much as I can from pre-existing stock for each show we mount, and flesh out the rest of the show by building/purchasing the "unfindable" items. My construction positions at the Old Globe Theatre and La Jolla Playhouse have provided me with valuable skills that I have put to use on almost every production I have ever designed. Many of the costumes in the Design section of this online portfolio are pieces that I constructed as well.
